Keeping up with the latest in office technology and telecommuncations has become a necessary part of business today.  Portable technology has explored in recent years because the products have become smaller, lighter and less expensive.  This has made them variable business tools and within reach of a much larger audience.  Cellular telephones that could be used as replacements for a dumb-bell a few years ago now fit in the palm of a hand.  Cell phones are used because it allows people to communicate whenever they want to.  Instead of people calling locations, people are able to call people.

Cellular telephones (also called cell phones or mobile telephones) are wireless phones that transmit and receive computer-controlled radio signals.  Cell phones transmit conversations and data using radio waves rather than copper wires. The oldest wireless networks use analog technology, while many newer networks use the same digital technology as CD-ROMs.
